A note on Devin Carter – Athletic's Sam Vecenie said if there were multiple seasons of excellent shooting instead just his last season in college, Devin Carter would have been a top 5 pick in this draft.
Demar got traded the same season the Raptors won it all. That had to hurt. I think that Toronto would have won the title if Demar had stayed, just bad luck. Maybe he can get a ring with the Kings in the next 3 years? That would be a nice topping for the end of his career!
Another thing, Demar is a quality dude. He will be a good veteran presence!
The clutch stuff is great, but can they get stops in the last 2 minutes??? I think Keon needs to be in the closing lineup!
Cam Johnson had a better 3 point percentage last year than Heurter did in 2022-2023!
I think the Kings are thinking we don't need him as much this season, but his potential ceiling and defensive acumen is so high, he is worth the wait, even if it is his entire rookie season!
