I’ve been saying for awhile Embiid is underrated on defense. If he didn’t have the carry the offense as much, he would be DPOY.
As dumb as it is to go out AD, Gobert, Bam and company, players do it. Embiid is such a big deterrent at the rim and guard nearly always dribble out of the paint if he is there.
