Him and a (hopefully) healthy Monte Morris = a high level very low turnover NBA point guard. Great combo between the two
As great as this signing was, I’m still not sure the suns have enough size or defense to make it past the second round. It’s a stretch to rely on their rookie, Nurkic and Okogie as the main defenders. Beal should come off the bench as the six man with Morris.
IMO they still need to get off one of the big threes contracts to truly stand a chance at building a great team. I’ve seen suns fans who don’t understand that Jones joined the team to raise his value to go somewhere else… they don’t know they won’t be able to keep him with their cap situation.
My prediction for the suns is they win around 48-50 games and are the 5th seed. They lose in the second round.
I think KJ Martin's contract is going to be used as part of a future deal
Really nice pickup for a Sun's team that doesn't have a lot of roster wiggle room.
That 3 million dollar contract will get them further in the playoffs than the 150 million spent on KD, Book, and Beal.
Tyus, Beal, Booker, KD and Nurkic is damn good offensively but it’s still not very good on defence

as a suns fan im hoping they use okogie, the 2031, and the 3 2nds they got to go after the best possible 3/4 they can to add size. my dream would be tari eason. if needed trade grayson in the deal as well as he is actually valuable and they already got 2 shootings guards in beal/book.
