I think with having 3 centers with not much experience you will need a Matt Ryan. You’re gone to need as much 3 point shooting as you can get that’s how you get away with not being totally dominant down low with bigs. This team they have built kinda reminds me of the beginning of the Warriors dynasty except they have a lot more talent than the Warriors did. They need just put it all together this yr no more blowing leads. Zion so dominant down low your center doesn’t need to be but we do need to get better at controlling rebounds on both sides

Karlo/Theis should be the starter. We need someone who can defend the pick and roll and at the same time can space the floor for Zion.

Trey is solid. He plays hard and has the body to guard bigger bodies. We don’t need a lot of offense from a C. We need a defender, rim protector, rebounder

Trey can be a breakthrough player for us. He played pretty well for Memphis last season.

They had an offensive type of center in JV who was a durable walking double/double, but he was not able to defend on the perimeter so they let him walk. Apparently, the Pels needs more of an athletic rim protector than an offensive center. Well, Trey Jemison fits that profile!
The team isn’t going to be reliant on the bench bringing the energy b/c DJM was brought here specifically b/c he’s a DAWG. He told us that he has high expectations as a leader and he’s going to hold people accountable and he wants them to do the same. A team with that mentality won’t need a reason to turn up, it’s just who they are.
Good move. I'm a little disappointed we didn't consider Tyus Jones as a back up PG. Suns signed him for 3 mil for 1 year. That should have been doable.
I was surprised Trey was waived, I think really good fit for us. Pulling for him to earn a regular contract.
So since the Pels head coach decided especially late last season to bench Jonus in favor of Larry Nance, I would like a breakdown of how our current C options compare to Larry Nance, obviously Missi and Karlo are rookies so that would be just speculation, but Theis and Jemison have played enough NBA minutes to compare where they might fail in comparison or maybe thrive ?
