Toronto Raptors rookie Ulrich Chomche is regarded as the best Cameroonian prospect since Joel Embiid. He’s been touted as the next Giannis. As Masai Ujiri said, there’s a Giannis and Embiid somewhere in Africa, we just need to find them. No one really took him seriously when he said that in 2018. But he was very serious.

So I spoke with the man who discovered them both to get to know who Ulrich is, what drives him, and just how bright his future could be for Toronto. This is my interview with Joe Touomou.
