I said it in the daily thread but as weak as those calls were, if Rui moved his feet more and did more work pre-catch, then he wouldn’t be put in that position. He let Gobert just walk him down and take that space and then fouled without trying to make a play on the ball at all. Weak call, but also not good defensive process.
A bummer because he looked tremendous offensively.
