Knicks Current TRADE Assets REVEALED per Bleacher Report | Knicks News

After landing Mikal Bridges, the final piece to the championship roster, NY’s trade assets are admittedly lackluster. However, Bleacher Report recently released an article about NY’s current tradable players & picks but failed to highlight a number of things about the Knicks for the upcoming season. They also incorrectly assessed what assets NY would even trade at this point. They also ranked the Knicks with having one of the worst trade assets in the league right now! With Bleacher Report, it’s often hit or miss and this one misses the mark badly… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

  1. The media always hating on the Knicks,
Let's just resign precious and pick up another cheap big and see what we have.

  2. Good… we don’t need to trade anyone else away. Just resign Precious Achuwa & bring up Dmytro Skapinstev if need be. Then the Knicks will have their usual center 5 position 4 man rotation

  3. I disagree completely with your take on Pacôme Dadiet..

Sure, he is a young, very high upside player, but is a few years away from contributing.

Knicks are very obvious in a win now mode. If they can move him as part of a deal to help them win now and their current window, they MUST consider it.

Dadiet, sims, a 1st and a second should be pretty close to getting you in a conversation for someone like Kessler or Duren… Both of which help the Knicks and fit their window much better.

  4. The rankings are incredibly subjective. They should have just stuck to draft assets because it’s impossible to quantify a teams tradable player assets.

  5. Okay, assets have been identified. The problem is we gave up too many assets for one guy (Bridges) and we really need a center NOW. So it's not only about assets to acquire. There has to be creativity, long-term creativity, as in the future, to make a deal. Does Leon want to go into the team's future draft stash for that center? That's the only way that it's going to happen for Jalen Duren. I highly value Duren as a player who can move into this team's future and I'm still salty that Leon "gave" him away. So, do the Knicks give up future picks to get a Duren back? Duren is a player who can become a part of the team's future. I don't know how Leon feels about Duren having already given him up so freely, unfortunately, after that move with the Nets — the future is the only option that can make that deal happen.

  6. They have their right to have an opinion but they are not seeing the big picture. They win then all the talk will change and we built the best team of this era ijs

  7. 🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦Ok, Troy. This will sound weird, but I’ll say it anyway. I enjoy lip syncing your intro and outtro. There, I said it. Yours is my fav you give Knicks channel. Thanks again for the great content. Anyway, at the 5, I think we need to go into the season with (in this order): Mitchie, Precious, Simsy and Big Skap. Guards: Burner, Mikal, DiVo, Deuce, CamPain F: King Julius, OG, JHart, KBD, JTop, KMac. Bring up The Incredible Hukporti and TK Smoothie If injuries mount. Let’s go with this and see where we stand. 🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦

  8. It doesn't make a difference what the Knicks do, the league, and the majority of the commentary is still going to hate on them.
