Lakers Bigs (Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, Pau) can all pass 🏆

That’s why it’s important to be offensively versatile besides pure scoring

No idea about Gervin and Pettit, but can’t fault Malone for not getting a ring because of a certain GOAT overlapping most of Malone’s career peak. Also let’s not act like 3 assist per game while average 25+ points is somehow bad, especially from a big.

Pedo Malone ain’t got the ring for Jordan.

Has to be a short list. How many non guards averaged 25 ppg for their career ?

Pettit won a championship in 1958 with a team that included HOFers Cliff Hagan, Slater Martin, and Easy Ed MacCauley, as well as Pettit. They also had Frank Selvy, who had scored 100 points in a college game and was inducted into the National Collegiate HOF. Selvy later played with the Lakers. MacCauley is the youngest player ever inducted into the HOF at age 32. No Hawk player averaged more than 4.6 assists per game. Pettit did average over 17 rebounds per game that season.

When Shaq won his 4th championship, his career averages were 26.7 points and 2.8 assists.
