    Is this roster a strong enough roster to compete for a championship if mavs are able to stay healthy you think?

    Not watching no players pockets so I could literally care less. I’m sure Hardy plays 20 minutes plus per game. I’m almost out on Omax.

    On the self inflicted pay cut issue, I’m a little surprised the Players Association is ok with the players doing this.

    I don’t think Omax or Hardy are going to play meaningful minutes this season. Mavs are trying to win now Hardy isn’t consistent and struggles to consistently be a playmaker when he plays Omax is just very raw. Spencer and Grimes give you way more on both sides of the ball than Hardy. In my opinion Hardy and Exum are on the outside of the rotation when the team is completely healthy unless the Mavs see Naji as a 4 and Grimes as a 3 then that opens up minutes at the 2 for either Hardy/Exum but I don’t see Maxi being out of the rotation.

    We need to understand that none of the NBA players are actually taking their forty or fifty million in annual pay. They are actually deferring 90% of their compensation to future years to spread the tax burden out over the rest of their lives. These multi-million-dollar players can live every bit as well on two or three million in income per year and why pay taxes to the government of half of your pay. Those deferred funds can be managed as well in an annuity fund so it can be growing when you are paying taxes on those moneys.

    Dirk took plenty pay cuts, just take a haircut this year, try to pair a draft pick, kleber, Powell, Hardy for 1 more great defender that can shoot the 3, long & fast, with a center thrown back in. Dude we would be complete
