  1. Braun is one of the critical players who can tilt the season either way depending on how he plays. I think Malone learned not to shift him around to many multiple positions last season. It was that discussion Braun had with him that saw him return to good form. We're going to need Christian as one of the elements to nudge the Nuggets from "possible" to "likely" ultimate success in the coming season.

  2. I've been getting up at 2AM, at most cases 3 and 3:30AM, 4 AM for 6 years, having missed no more than 25 games out of 500+ Denver Nuggets games and you can't wake up at5:30AM to watch the team you r rooting for. I will stop following all Denver related podcasts, and will only watch all NBA podcast Lowe post and Hoops collective. This is totally tasteless with false team Serbia support and will last as long as Jokic lasts.

  3. Franz Wagner is the best player at the Olympics period. No game system made him good, but the guy progressed and I like to see him in Orlando as a leader player with Banchero just next to him. I'm Serbian and of course I support Serbia, but Germany showed the best in all aspects of the basketball game, so I put them as gold medal winners, USA silver and Serbia Bronze. The main 8 players with rotation in the German team are tall, strong guys, who move phenomenally for their height and play with their heart. If you watched all the German games, you would know how they play and how strong their team is. It seems that the draw is a little orchestrated because France is a team that does not deserve to be in the round of 16, Wemby is far, far ,far from an average player and not a star, It seems that the draw is a little orchestrated so that France would bypass America in the semi-finals in case they win QF.

  4. My biggest expectation this year is a Westbrook defensive rebound that turns into a shot gun full court pass to Jokic down the court for a huge dunk!

  5. Joker's maybe best game would be a 30pt triple double, in a win against a top opponent, without a miss from the field or a ft line, with at least 1 three, 1 steal, 1 block and no turnovers

  6. Oh, boy… As a Brazilian who also happens to be a Nuggets fan, I have to say you guys were very, very quick to dismiss the team, on verge of just being plain disrespectful. Yeah, it would take a perfect game from them and a pretty bad game from the US for an upset to happen, and I don't think it will, but Brazil has excelled in two areas in this tourney that may give the US trouble: they're the best offensive rebounding team, and had the best 3 point shooting percentage, at 45%… Caboclo was in foul trouble in their two losses, but other than that has been playing great, as well as Huertas (who's older than LeBron at 41, by the way, and recently became the all time leader in assists in the ACB league). So I would not be so certain of a "stomping" as you guys are. It might very well happen, but it still would not make your incredibly dismissive take appropriate if it does – after all, you must be aware that correlation does not necessarily equate to causation. 😉
