[Scotto] Grizzlies signed Luke Kennard to a one-year deal worth $9.25 million guaranteed, which can become $10.64 million if he hits unlikely bonuses, sources told @hoopshype. Memphis is now narrowly below the luxury tax, pending bonuses earned by Kennard, Desmond Bane and Brandon Clarke.

I want to do the math and see how much each 3 he made cost us last year

Wait I thought it was 11mil?

Are these just the details of the deal and what we saw before was the 10.64 rounded up?

I did think the reason we declined Luke’s option was to sneak in under the luxury tax, so this makes a lot of sense.

  3. That unlikely bonus?

“Luke plays defense, and/or does literally anything consistently besides shoot 3 pointers.”
