  1. Here my thoughts on it, until lavine is traded coby is back on the bench besides that he's role haven't changed that much coby is a scorer a facilitator went he needs to be, josh can get him open looks. Coby needs to cut often this season, again josh will find him that my thought on it

  2. Ok. Lets get the narrative straight. The Bulls did not ask Coby to be the PG. HE told them he wanted to be the PG. I have those receipts. He never said "make me the PG" but he said "I want to be a starter. I'll sign with whoever gives me the opportunity. But I'd like to stay with the Bulls" Welp…he knew at the time he wasn't starting over Lavine. Or Demar. Or PW. He's not playing PF like AC. Certainly not starting at center. That leaves ONE guard position on the floor available to start as. PG! They gave him the opportunity he asked for and took the opportunity away before a chance for him to prove himself at the position after a year of experience to take in, and an offseason of more hard work put in. And they gave HIS opportunity to Josh Giddy. I don't hold that against Josh, of course. I want him to do well. But it don't sit well with me. If AK hadn't traded for Giddey? He wouldn't even be on our radar! And….we'd be talking about Coby improving on last season when he was 19/5/5. Instead we talking 'bout 16/7/7 Giddey? Joke's on Coby, I guess? You earned the keys, Coby. Now give 'em to Josh, shut up, and play your role! Is that fair? You think Coby likes that? I don't like it. I'm sorry. I like Coby. And I think he was done dirty.

  3. Coby is the last one out of the starters that should move to the bench idc. I will bench any of the other 4 if that means Coby starts. It’s a respect thing idc if people think he should be a professional. Lonzo is NOT starting and I doubt Lavine is coming off the bench as well. That leaves Giddey or we play Giddey at the 3 until Lavine is gone which is what I assume will be the case. But Coby not starting I would NEVER consider

  4. I don't know. I'm getting sick of my takes being wrong. 🙂 But this team makes it hard to have a good take, the way things keep flexing.
Coby deserves to start and get minutes and have the ball in his hand plenty and get plenty of shots.
But this team also needs ball handlers. And, with our team getting that much younger, and possibly getting even younger with Zach LaVine trade sometime in the next season, you could also say it would be unfair to Coby to be the only true ball handler (I'm going to leave Buz out of it for now.) with a bunch of kids.
We also need to remember that SGA got Nice playing next to Josh Giddey.
They're also going to be a lot of combinations and situations where Giddey is going to have to chill on the bench, cuz his shot isn't good enough to keep him on the floor.
You could also say that doesn't Coby deserve to have a teammate that can get him good shots in his good spots?
We can be excited about a player like Dalen Terry when it comes to creating shots for other players, but it's a different thing doing it in the real game with real Gs.
As for Lonzo, man, it's like trying to predict if a f**** asteroid's going to hit the Earth or not.

  5. Bulls are in a weird situation tbh.. what happens when ayo wants to start and is tired of coming off the bench for a “retooling team”? what if a contender pay ayo to start or be 6th man

  6. Coby has switched roles so much I believe he doesn’t even care where he plays. He has excelled in both player roles so I certainly don’t believe he cares. Just my 2Cents

  7. With DeRozan gone now, Coby White is getting better , cleaner, and more shot attempts because he's the only leader on the team that wants to be held accountable!
