Nah dude… losing KCP will leave a huge void in our defense plus his 3 point shooting. I love Braun but he isnt going to match that. We will see a different flavor in our starting 5 but i wont expect it to be excellent. I do expect both MPJ and Gordon to level up. Murray is a huge question mark (how often will he be injured, is he going to continue being really streaky especially in the playoffs, will he evolve and adjust playing more efficiently rather than relying on hero ball?)
I think our bench got a slight upgrade but i am not sure why we have so many 2 way players and still no solid backup center for jokic. I dont expect the moach to give deandre jordan any meaningful minutes like he has been the past several seasons. We cant keep expecting to have jokic play 40+ mins every game and have a minus team performances while he sits on the bench. Clearly theres a flaw and a pattern that teams take advantage of and its funny the FO thinks juat by adding westbrook that will surely solve that issue.
I believe we will still be a top 1 to 5 team in the west but i am not fairly confident we will get out of the 2nd round. I hope the nuggs can prove me wrong.

If we are getting 35 year old Westbrook. I think that’s fantastic. that’s a big upgrade off the bench….. The problem is, we are getting 36 year old Westbrook…. that might not seem like a big deal but Father time is undefeated and players drop off VERY quickly. And if what we saw in the playoffs was any indication…. that drop off is here right now
