I am 90% sure that he is there as a training camp hire and his non guaranteed contract is because they plan to cut him. It would make zero sense for the Spurs to guarantee Champagnie and resigning Bassey and Mamu and bringing in extra guys and then cutting someone for Flynn, a player who hasn't really done anything in the NBA in multiple teams. Spurs were set with their 15 guys and there were no extra space, even Dom Barlow had to go
