DLo and Wenyen Gabriel for Bruce Brown and Boucher..
Picking up Russell in exchange for Brown makes so much sense, would be so hard to turn down and a step up from losing Gary Trent Jr.
Boucher is next to go as he has maxed out his basketball skills and weight which is just way too light for his height and his 3 point shooting is so hot and cold.
Would free up much needed dollar space but a big no to trading away Jacob Poeltl, he is the only big 5 left on the roster, very much needed.

This is an old trade report much ado about nothing. I believe that there is a 90% chance Brown is on the roster to start the season. He only gets moved as part of a bigger multi-team trade ie Ingram. If Darko is a good head coach he should be able to find a way to utilize Boucher. Boucher fits in very nicely as the back up PF with the Raps current roster. The Raps current roster:
CP: Poeltl/Olynyk/Fernando
PF: Barnes/Boucher/Mogbo
SF: Barrett/Dick/Temple
SG: Brown/Ogbaji/Walter
PG: Quickley/Mitchell/Shead

This man is the Jordan Clarkson of last offseason where they just keep linking him to the Raptors but there’s no real interest there.
Hell no to trading for Russell. If he had any trade value hed already have been moved. And the team does not need another guard.
Keeping Brown makes more sense since he is more versatile.

DLo is 100% coming to the raptors. His baby mama and child live in Toronto so he spends a lot of time here and probably doesn’t want to be away from his family.

Whenever there is a junk player with a big contract available and the league doesn't want him, he is always linked to the Raptors. It's how the American think, that the Toronto organization is the NBA dumping ground. Been happening since '96.
the problem here is the lakers believe they should get assets back in trading dlo. so if you dlo fans want him in toronto its likely you giving up at least the portland 2025 2nd round pick for dlo with jakob poeltl.

We have a lot of guards but he will be a great pickup… I’m just ready to get rid of Bruce so I’ll take anybody at this point lol
If it's to dump contracts then you would have to look at someone like Boucher but I think he's done after this year anyways to move for Russell. If not Boucher, who is there left on the Raptors roster that they would want off the books?
