I think this is actually gonna be really big for embiid. Since he’s stepped on an NBA court he’s had to be the best player and unquestioned leader (except for half a season of jimmy). I think playing under guys like lebron and steph and watching how they lead, take care of their bodies, prepare for games etc will step Joels game up just that 1 extra notch that we need. I’m so ready for October
Love the French tears. He made it out healthy and enjoyed the experience. Hope he continues to stay ready for a big year

I mean, did we really expect anything less though, being honest with ourselves? 2-3 of the starting position are held by arguably the best players in the history of the sport at those positions. We all knew team USA was winning. This is America. We’re all gonna die from a heart attack at 55 but damn it all if all that hard work doesn’t mean we’re kicking every other country’s ass at everything but Soccer. You can’t compete with United States work ethic. It’s just not in the culture elsewhere.
