We gotta buy and sell if we show promise at the deadline. Sell Zach, sell Vuc, "buy" what we get for them. The deadline is 50 games in. If we're .500 or just above or below? We can't hang onto it and try to "add" to it to make it better. Or try to make a play in push. We need to SELL! If we show "promise" but are…20-30 at the deadline? Sell, sell, sell! The only way we should be buyers at the deadline is if everything is peaches and cream at that time. Bulls are 30-20, top six team, Zach happy as a clam, Giddey our guy, PW is amazing, Coby being a star, Matas ROTY contender, bench mob tight. Because THATS what it would take to be 30-20 at the deadline in this league. Anything less? SELL!
Dalen Terry will be much improved for the Bulls. He's worked very hard to improve his game, he hasn't backed down from playing with and against elite competition in the off season, he's hungry to play basketball, and I'm confident it will pay off as he enters his 3rd season. Give me that type of guy over someone you have to question whether he has the heart and passion for the NBA or he's just in it for the fame and fortune.'
The Drew league doesn't tell the whole story but it shows a player's desire to face competition at any level. DT could've played and got cooked like Denzel Valentine did, but he took on the challenge and faired well. Hopefully, his confidence carries over through the preseason and into the regular season. DT's career is at a crossroad with the Bulls. Either play him or trade him. Just don't sit him for 4 yrs. No player deserves that.
