2022 was Jalen Brunson’s first year on the team and RJs 2nd. Josh did not start the season on the roster, joining midseason as a trade addition. What do you think would have happened to the Knicks trajectory with Melo on the roster at the start of the season? I know he is the lovable Melo now, but… maybe Josh never joins the team. No Donte the following year. No Nova Knicks. Season tanks and they blow up the team and trade everyone except Brunson. No thanks. I like where we are now. I think we dodged a bullet.
