Doc: “Steph is as much of a game changer as anybody in our lifetime…[before], you go to an AAU game, no one took a jump shot. At an AAU game today, people shooting half court, everybody’s shooting, that’s from one dude. We don’t give him enough credit…Steph, man, he works, he’s a machine.”

Obama once said something to the effect of ‘people look at Steph and think he’s more achievable than lebron or Dwight Howard because he’s not a mountain of a man with rippling muscles. But he’s just as much of a mutant or x-men as they are, with his hand eye coordination. He would be the best dart player ever if he wanted to be. Or best bowler, he’s like the real life Hawkeye”

for all the changed the game narrative we havent seen anyone come close to what he does. hes one of one, often imitated, never duplicated. the closest player Ive seen to steph is caitlin clark, and we’ve all seen what that has done to the the womens game. Theres no coincidence these two players with their playstyle are the most popular basketball players in the world

The point is not for nothing. He inspires us that if we work hard enough and practice shooting hard enough we too can be great.

It might be far from reality but it’s closer than just winning the genetic lottery.
