Kinda unrelated but I was watching the 22 WCF highlights and I really hate that going into the finals I had a feeling it would turn out like the Warriors series and it ended up being absolutely identicalðŸ˜
This however was really the highest of highs for me last season! I thought we would keep the lose game 1 gimmick going in this series so actually winning game 1 was kind of surreal. So naturally going into game 2 I was expecting them to come out extra motivated to kick our ass lol. Surely the team that just beat the defending champs wouldn’t start the WCF losing both home games. When they went up like 15 or whatever my prediction was going exactly how I thought it would but when we made our run and took the lead I got greedy and wanted it bad!!
When Luka had the ball I 100% knew what was about to happen which goes to show how fortunate we really are to have such a clutch demon who thrives under these circumstances.
However I remember being scared out of my damn mind of Naz Reid! I remember saying to myself and my wife plz don’t let Naz Reid get a look I just knew he would spoil Luka’s moment and break our hearts. When he actually got the ball and put it up my fucking heart fell to my stomach😠How he didn’t make that shot idk that was an act of God himself because it looked good all the way until it didn’t.
