Bulls ownership will not overtly tank. That has been made clear. They might be bad, but not intentionally bad.
Sometimes some players make the team worse so getting rid of them will allow other players to show out add by subtraction
What’s the difference, if they get Chicago pick this year they’ll just trade it away for a pick in 2032 might as well not have it converted and get the pick in 2026 instead. Just like last year we were better off not having the Toronto pick convey just to trade it away for a 2031 pick, we were better off getting their pick this year instead although they would traded that away too.
Hornets were good a couple seasons ago before injuries and the bridges indecent, so this shouldn’t be surprising that they wanna try to win now

now trade keldon johnson, collins tre jones to the bulls for levinemand try to get some draft pick for our trouble for absorbing his contract (2025 blazers top 14 protected 2027 or bulls top 14 protected). hugreward/low risk trade, low risk? only cap risk is our 2026 cap. the reason i suggested jonsom collins and jones, is bcos their combination of salaries could match lavine 43m salaru unless we want to include vassell in the trade,.which we wont. we also could inc;ude one of branham/wesley as a sweetener. why spurs should thetrade? levine is an all star player he would definitely help us if not injured. kj, zc, tj do not fitt our future plan they can be traded w/o implication to our roster. the cap risk? the salary is around the same in 2024, so no risk, in 2025 kjm zc salaeies are around 36m 11m less than levine, unless we are really targetting expensive fas so no cap risk at all in 2025. in 2026 our salaries are wemby 17m, vassell 27m, levine 49m , castle 11m, champagne 3m, fladg or any 251st rounder 20m max, sochan/fa, branham/fa, wesley/fa. total 128m , very well below lixury tax threshhold and still have enough to resign sochan especially if levine oped out.. so tading for levine has very low risk in term of cap. wgy bukks should make the trade, clearing levine contract. ki ,ight not fit spurs plan, but he is very good player, could easily get 16-20ppg abd gas really god 4y contract left( less 20m eac, while many spurs fan hate zcm he is a decebt c. if the bulls manage to trade vucevic, zc is a decent replacement
