I remember the Portland Finals, and I took it was going to be an L for the Pistons with a few minutes left and Portland in control. Came down to get dress for school while I watched the news, think Isaiah scored 12 straights points, put the Pistons on his back and they win the game and series. I think a lot if the negative relationships he had has kind of dimmed the impact of how good of a player he was, and had the ability just take over a game, in a league full of future hall of famers.

He really gets omitted in all-time point guard lists. But he beat Larry magic and Prime Michael Jordan with Scottie Pippen. He also is a more traditional point guard where all the scoring didn't run through him, just the offense. So guys like him Stockton magic always get penalized, and even Bill Russell too, but all of these guys could have and would have scored more in the modern era
N today's game Zeke would be comparable to Donovan Mitchell,respectfully…but not Steph or Kyrie.Old heads forget that everything gets better with time. No disrespect but those guys would get tea bagged by new age NBA level athleticism

ZEKE! My favorite baller. Balled out in that NCAA championship. Came to the scrub ass Pistons and scored a bunch of points but continued lose- then stated he was tweaking his game to become more of a distributor and scorer when needed- the Pistons immediately became a contender- two NBA championshions followed a few seasons later (should have been three but we'll save that argument for another day).
