I swear they are making everything a stat now lol. But still, it’s clear how much impact Wemby has defensively and I won’t complain about another stat showing this.

It’s not, or at least it wasn’t. Someone made it a few days ago and it’s probably not as accurate as it seems even if they are using nba tracking data. Regardless, safe to say Wemby would be leading the pack even if it was accurate.

>A HELLNAH is credited to a player who is the closest defender when a ball handler dribbles within 6 feet of the hoop but then turns around and moves away from the hoop with a speed of 2+ feet/second without shooting or drawing a foul or creating a shot for a teammate when no other defender was within 10 feet of the hoop.
Holy hell nah I’m not reading that mess of a run-on sentence.

What about PROBABLYNAHs?
Wemby is amazing but … “speed of 2+ feet/second”??? Lmao what is this?

So Wemby leads the league in hellnahs and abductions?
MajorNinthSuta
There’s no way he only has 12 of those. There’s also no way anybody else is that close.

NICE! I really thought Gobert would have been up there with Wemby. I bet if there was a way to measure shots altered to the point of over correction Wemby would lead that too. Add in steals and blocks, you can see he creates so many bad or difficult possessions for opponents.

I predict a time in the future when the league is tired of testing him that his HELLNAH’s per game skyrockets.
GUNZTHER
That criteria is ridiculously dumb lol

I want to know whether the numbers are actually accurate or this is just a complete joke. Because if the numbers are actually accurate, then this is a pretty cool stat.

Is this hellnahs per game?
Can’t be per season way too low.
