    If Matas was #1, why did he fall that far? I hope he doesn't have any hidden injuries or turns out to be a bust. Second, no draft picks returned in that trade. OKC gave away a "potential " young star for an older, good defensive player. That trouble, Giddey got into made OKC pull the trigger on the trade. This wasn't a steal or robbery for the Bulls. It was just an acquisition. (I) for incomplete until he plays.

    This is sweet sorrow! Sorrow:I hated to see DeMar and Caruso leave…Sweet. I think Giddey and Buzelis are going to be very good players

    I don't think Giddey will have as much chemistry with Matas as you think. Let me explain why.
    1. Spacing – Neither can shoot so both on the floor at the same time will cause defenses to collapse in the passing lanes forcing the players further away from the basket.
    2. Improvising – Giddey transitions but not like Zo. Zo doesn't even have to dribble down the floor for a fast break. He makes 1 pass to the player from full court. Giddey dribbles up the floor which allows defenses to get back because he's not super quick dribbling. The defenses can stop him up the floor. He is more of a 1/2 court passer not a long distance passer. More like Ben Simmons. In the half court, the passes are only effective if there are shooters to space the floor but with Giddey and Matas, you have 2 non shooters. Matas needs a pg who can shoot. It wouldn't surprise me if Matas plays better with Coby or Zo.
    3. Put ball in Matas hands – Giddey is a high usage point guard and I think Matas may be better with the ball in his hands at times similar to Coby. Matas can make some nice passes himself and also dribbles in transition. Let Matas take the ball up court and also create going down hill to kick out to shooters.

    27 drafts picks, over the next 5 years And the bulls couldn’t get a single pick back

    14 firsts and 13 seconds in the next five years

    They literally have more picks than they can use…. Bulls couldn’t get any

    Stupid assed trade if you’re rebuilding
