What I’ve seen compared to what has been reported,doesn’t match. But I do believe he’s shown both speed and defense.

I think the Spurs will keep Siddy for a bit. He needs more minutes, and I think that Harrison Barnes will help him along.

Sidy was the 44th pick in his draft. 44th!!!! Those players are ALWAYS hit or miss. He's only 20 years old. He's not ready for the French national team and his 2 year trajectory is pure guesswork.
Even Dom Barlow, whom loved by lots of fans and really wish he have a spot in the future, gets cut.
I don't see Sidy will have different treatment than Barlow. If the FO deemed he's not improving, he gets cut

you can't expect a 2nd rounder to become a top role player in a year, yes the league is very competitive but let's see him playing some minutes this year at least
