First I think it’s important to decide whether we are talking overrated amongst hawks fans or the NBA in general. Personally I think hawks fans should be more tuned in so most fans shouldn’t be criminally underrating/overrating players, so we will go with amongst all NBA fans.
Lastly I’m lazy and forgetful so if someone else wants to take over for other days they can feel free.

Surely Jalen Johnson, no? We know what he’s capable of, but the league still isn’t on notice that we have a double-double monster
If we’re talking amongst Hox fans, I think Garry Bird gets my vote. His shot off the bench is massive, but because he rotated w Wes, fans just lumped them together bc of the latter’s brick laying proclivity. Also excited to see what our Aussie lockdown defender can do.

If we’re talking about amongst all NBA fans. I would say Bogi until the Olympics. The NBA sub melted down after the US game talking about how good he was and how he was getting wasted here. He’s a certified bucket getter. However, I think most hawks fans seem to understand how good he is.

I know Trae Young is one of the most underrated players in the league, but mostly it’s just haters, honest people can’t deny that he’s an offensive powerhouse.
Bogi on the other hand is relatively unknown by a lot of fans, and he gets thrown into trade hypotheticals like he’s salary filler. He’s really a 6moy candidate and he brings so much value to the hawks.

He hit 44% on 3’s last season which was top 4 in the league & on 7.0 3PA per 36 – only Kennard was better (% + atts) but got paid $12M more…so underrated in shooting and $$$
