  1. I agree. He should have that go to "bank shot" or "floater" type move. Where he makes a higher percentage, but with all the different defenses thrown at him, he needs to find them.

  2. Wemby bring over ambitious is not a bad thing I don't think. He works his ass off on and off season and it shows. I think that's his drive.

  3. I think Kobe is one of the goats but he did also copy everything from Michael Jordan so I think Victor is picking all these Secrets up to have it in his bag but I'm pretty sure he's working on his own things

  4. Clan it’s only Wemby Year 1 Let Him Experiment All 1000 Basketball Moves & Still Which is His Go-To Sky Hook

  5. I did think his extended exchange with Kevin Durant at the end was interesting. I really do hope they get together and work out together. They’re both basketball junkies, and I’m sure KD will be happy to share. He seems to be like that kind of dude.

Who knows his go-to move might end up being Jordan’s, Kobe’s, Durant’s, Kawhi’s go-to move, which is the one or two dribble pull up jumper. Basically an unguardable move as long as he poses a threat of driving to the basket, which he does.

  6. He’s a jack of all trades and a master at none at the moment.

You could argue that him not having a go to move and being so diverse and so adaptable in his place style makes him more of a threat and his move.

Nevertheless I think within time and I think within comfortability and experience and trying these various moves he will find his own.

  7. He's building his bag of tricks. Wait till he figures out his favorite ones. Then he'll have a go to move or four. He's going to be dominant.

  8. Best believe… if Kobe was alive, that would've been the first person he would've gone to! KD would've been second. Soak up all the knowledge from the old guard as you can. If you don't hunger to be great or the greatest, then what are you here for? He went to JCrossover for the dribbling. He's got Duncan in-house for the post, and now KD! This is a copycat sport. YouTube Jordan/Kobe same moves. Folks go to Hakeem for post moves.

  9. I agree with you. I think the best move he should have or start with is the 'Tim Duncan elbow mid' spot. From there, learn his patented bank shot, LA's post spin and fade, face up, fake, blow by fake, hook shot, or reverse turn middie.. from there, he can have a very successful career already.

  10. I think Wemby has been focusing on polishing his weaknesses and not overly ambitious.

That being strength, his handle/ball security, shooting efficiency, and a go to move

We all can see he is stronger, and he has been working with Jamal to increase his ball handling ability.

I think the spurs development staff and his time with KD will improve his shooting efficiency especially on catch and shoots and post up shots. Additionally, I think with a tightened handle, he might be able to take KD’s hesi pull up, along with his post fade that was so lethal in his golden state days.

Also gotta think he has spent a lot of time with Timmy and D-Rob already to help with post moves. So I think the base is there for what he is trying to achieve

  11. Wemby spent one year in the NBA, he's only 20, and you're worried because he doesn't have a go-to move ? Relax, man. He's constantly learning and according to what his coaches said : he's learning fast. Let him find that move and develop it.

  12. Wemby already mentioned in an interview that him and the Spurs are working on a go-to move for him. It’s just that his bag is so deep so there’s many to choose from and they’re being careful on selecting which one suits him best.

  13. There are many young players who’ve been in the league longer than Wemby and idk if they already developed their go-to moves. Wemby just finished his rookie season so I think we can relax on that.

  14. Saying “you don’t have a go-to move” and “not a master of one” are two separate things.

  15. don't forget the interview at the end of season when he talks about this moment of" suspension" in KD game he wants to master. i think this is the point Clan.
