I’m not his biggest fan personally, but it is insanely impressive how big of an icon he is! The man retired as a Bull in 98 and retired for good in 03 and he’s still posted on here more than any active player.
ColdPressedSteak
Hang time and in air body control is def two of the things he’s unquestionably the GOAT at
HS941317
Not one of, the goat layup imo.
robotstookourwomen
Hits one of the greatest layups of all time, gets fouled, doesn’t complain, casually jogs down court. I love LeBron and I’m from Ohio but people who grew up watching Jordan know who the real GOAT is.
Opposite-Track-1754
Malik Monk does this move every week lol
NotManyBuses
I don’t know why people say it was impossible to drive the lane in the super physical 90s
Sea-Tangerine-5772
Watch the reaction from the other team’s bench in the last replay…
ajatjapan
A spectacular move by Micheal Jordan!
MinePlay512
His layup is so smooth that it can be hard to guard it.
senrad
They made this layup his signature move in the old ea sports basketball game.
Nick_Hammer96
Tyrese Haliburton did this layup once this past season
IThinkWhiteWomenRHot
Curry and Kyrie could do this
flapjackbandit00
And Stacey King standing there wide open for the same layup as Jordan draws 3 defenders. But we don’t call people the goat for making that pass.
CashCarti1017
Both Jordan and Lebron stans working overtime after the olympics, I will be there no matter what.
medspace
I seen Jalen green make a layup like that
robertsalam
The goat at finishing in traffic above and below the rim.
ChiefRicimer
This offseason really just gonna be Lebron vs Jordan posts huh?
yeezyhersh
Jordan was just leagues and shoulders more athletic than anyone in the league… it’s like a player from today playing in the 80s.. really feels like Jordan is a time traveler lol
lolcoatedalmonds
has there ever been a jordan post without lebron being mentioned? atleast with lebron posts jordan doesnt get mentioned everytime.
Ok_Oil_877
One of the best finishers with THE lay up. I’ve seen several modern ones better than this but this one is so OG it’s considered my best of all time. Shit is iconic.
LyonsKing12
“One of the greatest layups of all-time”
Bron vs Jordan posts will continue until morale improves.
houstonrockets3311
This wouldn’t make the daily top 5 plays in today’s NBA.
asminem02
Even the Nets bench were mesmerized by the move of MJ
simonffplayer
i honestly don’t think any other player in the history of the nba could do a move like this
what_no_fkn_ziti
I could have sworn that someone dubbed this one as the father, the son, the holy spirit, amen. But I can never seem to find it.
MGubser
Jordan was just taking advantage of a bad defensive scheme that only sent four defenders at him.
BrandonXavierIngram
Jamal Murray was doin dis shit in da bubble
Kyrie does it way better nowadays
Jalen Green does it
Senior_Race_2746
Sometimes I dream…
Spiritjuice4998
Robert Johnson cut a deal with the devil.
Michael Jordan cut a deal with gravity.
Antique-Purple-Axe
Prime kyrie was doing this every other game
JiggzSawPanda
Those Nets jerseys are so fucking fire
ArnoldisKing
my all time fav play of his
DariaYankovic
this one is so much more amazing than his switch against the Lakers in the Finals. I hate that the Lakers switch is the his most famous finish that isn’t a dunk- because he has 50 finishes better than that one.
wow, a lot of people think this is just a pump fake reverse layup. they keep mentioning an these other players that have done the same. pretty insane to think the Kyrie, Jaylen Green and Halliburton layups are the same.
Ryanjemima
I saw Jamal murray do that in the bubble playoffs.
bobbdac7894
In today’s NBA, most players would pass it to the open 3 point shooter if they drive to the paint and it’s crowded like that. Honestly, that’s the smarter play on paper. But I miss the circus layup shots in traffic from the older nba.
DannyLovelies
Oh, Yes. Yes. Yes.
WolverineLong1430
That acrobatic move and body control is insane. I have not seen any player do anything similar, maybe Derrick Rose comes to mind. It’s one thing to jump high, it’s another level hanging in the air and twisting with such grace and body control.
jl_theprofessor
Every time I see a clip of Jordan, I’m just like, yes. He was as good as you remember. Probably better.
CockroachForeign6419
One of the most overrated plays oat
JustTheRobotNextDoor
The basketball player in me watching early Jordan highlights: could you not have passed the ball for an easier shot?
The fan in me watching early Jordan hightlights: hell yeah!
BananaRepublic_BR
Getting by four different set defenders and making a reverse lay-up is insane.
TheThrowbackJersey
This is a pretty standard highlight for guards of this era. Jordan was the first but people learnt it
Alarmed_Corner4008
Well not anymore

Myles Turner sending that shit to the stands today tbh.
