  1. Runner-up for best rim protector: Draymond Green

Wilt Chamberlain. 7-2. Ran the 400 in 49 sec. Was a elite college track star in high jump and triple jump. One of the only bigs ever with a true 40 inch vert. Could literally touch the top of the backboard. Could bench 400lbs for reps his recorded max was 550 lbs. He is probably the greatest ATHLETE as a physical specimen in NBA history.

As 48 year old casually scrimmaged with Magic Johnson and other pros in LA. Magic said he was actually probably the best dude on the floor. He actually said he was outright dominant. Paul Bunyan sh…

Dude averaged like 40 pts 26 reb 6 blks with the Dubs.

Imagine a dude with LeBron’s Speed and Shaq’s strength and Wemby’s outlier dimensions… that was Wilt in 1962.

If time travel existed circa 1962 Wilt might be the best athlete in today’s NBA… think he would bury Giannis tbh.

In 1997 when the 50 greatest players had their banquet Wilt and MJ got into an argument as everyone was leaving over who was more dominant.

Wilt said “remember when I played they changed all the rules to make it harder for me to be great… today all the rules are changing to make it easier” he wasn’t wrong.

    He’s my vote.

  5. basketballsteven

This is silly rim defender is Nate Thurmond.

  6. Wilt by a landslide.

But honorable mentions for: Jason Richardson, healthy Baron Davis, Muggsy Bogues, Jonathan Kuminga

Wilt Chamberlain is probably the most athletic player in the history of the league

No disrepect for JK, but most potential – Wilt – as well as most athletic and best rim protector.

Gotta be Wilt although I honestly don’t really count him as a Warrior. He played before they became the “Golden State Warriors” and found their home in Oakland. I know the franchise came from Philly, then bounced around SF so it is technically the same team, I just feel that the Warriors I really count start with the Nate Thurman and Rick Barry era, not 1950s in Philly.
