Most definitely. Naji Marshall is an upgrade From Derick Jones Jr. He can play defense and a better offensive player. Jones could not throw a ball in the ocean doing the finals. He is also weak when he goes to the basket with defenders around him. He is great on wide open lobs. But check out how timid he is going with people on him. Quinton Grimes is an upgrade for Tim Hardaway Jr. The Mavs are a much better team at least on paper. But I think they really have a shot this year

DJJ is a great player but I think Naji is going to fit in even better and have his best year around players like Luka and Kyrie

Naji Marshall can guard the other teams powerfoward and the bigger players rather than DJj only handle the swing man or 2 guards 2 inches taller and 35 pounds heavier is NM.
Naji has a chance to shine when either Ky or Luka sits. Mavs need a third scorer with just a little more pop than PJ. Grimes and Naji have a shot at being the third go-to.
