No, but Steve Nash is about 20 places too high.

  3. pianosportsguy2

No, I think this is about right, 1-4.

    >Should Jerry “The Logo” West be higher on the list?

    Nope, not at all.

West was more of a SG than a PG, he should probably be lower.

Also, his finals record (1 win in 9 tries) was… umm… bad.

Honestly these lists seem so hard to put together after the first few names. Hell, I thought Big O was too high up until I looked up his stats, GOD DAMN. Cant really give the most accurate list cuz I didnt watch most of these fossils play, but CP3 being @ 6 and Russ @ 12 just seems off. I always thought their careers could be debated on which is better but a 6 name GAP is wild.

I have Jerry over The Big O but really it’s a moving list. So I’m not at all complaining about the placement. Isiah Thomas is a substantial enough drop off from the able 2 where I’m more than comfortable with the placement. Steph Curry being above I’m also comfortable with. Even if it’s a lot closer than Zeke is relatively. Chris Paul over Stockton though is something I would argue

Russell Westbrook at 12 is laughable when Oscar is 3rd, unless you think 1 chip is that much more than 4 seasons averaging a triple double

  8. audioaxes

In my book Steph is a undersized shooting guard

  9. nottherealstanlee

Jerry was more of a sg than a pg so no.

And Magic is by far the best pg that’s ever existed. It’s not close.

  10. 1-4 is on point. 5-10 has some I’d swap around personally, but nothing egregious.

  11. Not sure Steph should be considered tbh. He’s more a combo guard known for his shooting than an actual pg if talking about being a QB at pg. Jerry West had around 40 triple dbls, Curry at 13 atm. Steph the GOAT combo guard tho. Dame with 3 triple dbls. AI with one triple dbl. Bron with 140+.

    re-ranked:

    5. Chris Paul

    6. John Stockton

    7. Jason Kidd

    8. Isiah Thomas

    9. Gary Payton

    10. Steve Nash

    11. Damian Lillard

    12. Russell Westbrook

    13. Walt Frazier

    14. Tiny Archibald

    15. Bob Cousy

  13. rbreezy21

AI needs to be on here. Probably the toughest guard in the league when he was in his prime

  14. Ok_Storage_2251

No but Stockton should (even though I can’t stand him) Steph’s a shooting guard

  15. mamimikon24

i just don’t know what they see in Lilliard, I’d put nutjob Kyrie before Lilliard.

  16. ruwheele

Bro Chris Paul…where’s AI? J Kidd need to be higher.

  17. LudwigNasche

I always thought he was more of a SG, but I think Stockton shouldn’t be bellow CP3.

  18. SlowCrates

Jerry West would get so embarrassed in today’s league. I don’t think he’d make the g League.

  19. booty_sweat_juice

Iverson’s gotta be on there. I’d be more scared of facing him than half the people on that list.

  20. no_shut_your_face

    Westbrook shouldn’t make the list

  21. Potential-Judgment-9

Chris Paul should not be that high on the list.

  22. wholewheatcanuck

CP3 is waaaaay too high on that list!!!!!!!!

  23. MReprogle

I hated Isiah, but I would maybe bump him up a bit. I’ve never seen a PG play defense like that dude, even if most of it would get called as a foul nowadays.

  24. Klaxosaur

    A true PG? Magic definitely.

    Offensively? Curry.

  25. If magic Johnson didn’t get aids we’d be talking about him as the goat right now. That’s all I’m saying

  26. nmo31536000

I don’t view curry as a PG. He’s a shooting guard. It’s rare you see PG getting plays run for them and running off screens etc. he didn’t run the offense so to speak

  27. Abstruck8

What’s with this Steph Curry over Magic bs talk in the NBA and NBAtalk subreddit going on? Worse yet, what’s with the Curry over Kobe talk? Lmao

  28. I struggle with the inflated CP3 stuff. Over Kidd and Stockton? Nah not for me thanks.

  29. Godzillasaurus_Rex

I mean, he’s the only one I know of who’s team LOST the finals, but he still won Finals MVP 🤷🏿‍♂️

  30. rational_overthinker

Lillard, lol no way he is ahead of Tony Parker, and I am the furthest thing from a Sp*rs fan there is and where the hell is AI????

  31. thisoneslaps

I will never understand why lebron isn’t considered a point guard
