Kevin Love on Lebron’s “stop fitting out, start fitting in” tweet: It hurt my feelings. All I wanted from those guys was the recognition that I was sacrificing a lot. I think he was trying to get a rise out of me and play it to the media. We never acknowledged it

Lebron’s type of bullying was the Mean Girls passive aggressiveness type. I recall Love also saying he used to eat alone cause the Cavs were so cliquey until Frye/RJ joined the team and invited him to eat with everybody

  2. DontBanMe_IWasJoking

Kevin Love has had one of the most unique careers, he’s a legend and it went down pretty shittily for him

  3. peaudunk

People act like Lebron is some great leader of men.

  4. Holiday-Rip-1969

Kevin love had a great career, don’t understand these comments. He didn’t wanna be Lauri markennen and he succeeded

  5. Jolly-Hope-8168

He got Chris Bosh’d, LeBron/Wade and LeBron/Kyrie got the ball most often. Bosh and Love sacrificed their career statistical success for a ring, and they are living with the results.

LeBron is a massive capper on twitter. Lol.

If MJ kept his mystique refusing to use social media to promote, LeBron is the opposite using it to expose how corny he is and destroy his image.

I hope history is kind and remembers Kevin Love’s career the right way. He was a problem in Minny.

  8. Sawitlivesry

Lebron does everything he does for Lebron. If he ever does acknowledge it, it will be for him, not for Kevin. Btw we should get Lebron and Embiid on a team together

    Major respect for K Love.

    Never forget:

    K Love scored 34 in a quarter.

Also had a rare 31pt/31 rebound game.

  10. After rewatching this you can definitely tell klove is making light and joking about this and it’s not that serious

  11. HolyRomanPrince

Any rational adult would agree that was some unprofessional unhelpful passive aggressive bullshit.

  12. It’s funny that the timing of this clip is the same as the interview with Jeremy Lin talking about how Kobe was an ass and didn’t talk to him for four months. I think guys like Kobe/Lebron, but really all guys who have to lead their teams more than most athletes-guys like them, Brady, Steve Nash, and of course head coaches-they all have their philosophy on what kind of leadership style they want to take. And they’ve all experienced really high levels of success, so they go with what works. I’m sure Brady/Kobe/Lebron know sometimes they’re straight up assholes, but they also know sometimes that’s the price of success and they’re willing to pay it.

The thing is, there are other ways that work too. And sometimes they know but it doesn’t work in the context of their personality, sometimes they don’t think a nicer approach will work at all.

That said, might be an unpopular opinion here but to win at that kind of level is so difficult that I do think the ends justifies the means. Winning in professional sports leagues is like business, you do whatever is right for the organization and don’t worry about people’s feelings. Reddit will hate me saying that, but I never get angry with work for doing what’s best for the business-if someone comes along offering me significantly more money to work somewhere else tomorrow, all things equal, I’m gone today. It goes both ways and that’s fine. Kobe and Lebron might be assholes but they’re definitely doing what they think will help winning.

Bron did a lot of sneak dissing and other passive aggressive stuff during his second stint in Cleveland.

  14. Methamine

literally carried me an entire season in fantasy when he was with the wolves i will never forget

  15. Kevin Love went from the best PF in the league, 2nd team all NBA, to essentially a spacers/rebounder with occasional post ups on mismatches. Chose winning over individual accolades in the prime of his career. Not many players will do that. Chris Bosh was another that did.

  16. Glum-Lab1634

I don’t think people really remember the kind of numbers he was putting up when he was on the Wolves

  17. iCE_P0W3R

Counterpoint: he needed to adjust how he played.

  18. I’m a Cavs fan and I loved when KLove was with us, especially after he found his place, and how best to help his team win. Though one thing that I always found frustrating about him, is how much of a pushover he was in the defensive post. It was especially frustrating, considering he was far more willing to throw his weight around when he was in the offensive post.

I can tell you that hearing Love talk about being bullied by a more popular person is odd/cathartic for anyone who grew up with him to hear.

  20. nibbinoo8

i can’t take anyone wearing a neckerchief serious

  21. gold-sleep

    “We’re a dying breed”
    Classy jerk of the year

  22. It was a big 3 for a reason. Kevin Love was and still is legit.

He’s a perfect fit on this Miami team. He gives the best 10-15 minutes you could ask for with someone with his skill set.

  23. slickrickstyles

Stone cold shirt is on brand for Love

  24. Athlete-Extreme

K Love was him man. Minnesota was his team. Everyone knew that at the time. I’m shocked the Cavs didn’t rock with him that way.

  25. MoistUnderbelly

Im just here for the Vizsla enjoying the sun and being held by dad <3

  26. moody-green

Bron is a prick and diva. K Love should feel comfy saying that now.

  27. Boy69BigButt

LeBron can be a shitty teammate sometimes. I wish we’d stop acting like he is the perfect leader in every situation.

  28. Timactor

Love is the reason Bron got that Ring

Love was the Cavs best player in some of those Warriors games

  29. copaseticepiplectic

Will Bron stans acknowledge now Lebron isn’t some infallible leader
