Known for his fiery demeanor and trash-talking on the court, Garnett's passion for the game was unmatched, making him one of the most intense competitors in NBA history. Off the court, he was known for his philanthropy, particularly in the areas of education and youth programs.

Who is the worst starter in Timberwolves history? Players that played only a handful of games as a starter don’t count. Think starters who started 40+ games in any season and were chosen over other options on the roster/in free agency— not players filling in for injured players, necessarily.

I know this isn’t even close to the answer but Jarret Culver’s 40% FT was fucking horrific to watch

Treveon Graham and not particularly close imo

Anthony Bennett. And we had to keep playing him because he was a number one pick and you can’t just give up on that so easily.

  4. AdministrationStuff

We have a lot of options for this one

My heart says Jeff Teague, but my brain says Wesley Johnson.

  6. Michael Olowokandi – he was brought in 03-04 to essentially be the 5th wheel on a stacked team and couldn’t even hold that spot down. Career 36 year old journeyman Ervin Johnson ultimately beat him out for the spot by the end of the season averaging 1.9 PPG and 3.5 boards.

Some of you seem to be to young the expansion years were pretty horrible. Bill Curley tried hard but was terrible. Graham in recent memory was the worst.

I was really into the NBA growing up, and immediately stopped caring after KG left, and got back into it when Rubio started to flourish. I just went back to look at the depth chart for the 08 Wolves… who tf is Ryan Gomes? He’s gotta be the answer right?

I think the post KG era probably holds the answer. We started Kirk Snyder and we started Nathan Jawai. Who even knows who they are.

Synder had the best playing of his 4 career with us, and he still was out of the league but the next season.

Nathan Jawai wasnt a true starter, but we did start him a few games I think and he was abysmal. Truly unplayable in the NBA.

Alexy shevd was bad mike James for the money we paid him

Adreian Payne. The dude was practically out of the league by the time the pick we traded for him finally conveyed.

Branden Roy, dude knees were non existent, I think he managed to play one game for the wolves before hanging it up.

OP you should link the past posts in the description or a comment – that would be sick

    Cherokee Parks was pretty bad.

    Graham was awful.

Mike Brown was a starter half of 93 and averaged 3.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in 24 mins a game.

If you choose between teams that had the two worst records (91-92 and 09-10) it has to be Jonny Flynn.

If we expand our definition to include “started more than one game” we can get some pretty funny answers.

36 year-old Kevin Ollie started 21 games for us in 08-09. Honestly, we trotted out some pretty deprarious starting fives that season.

Marko Jarić’s .399/.301/.688 on 28 minutes across 49 starts is pretty bad in 05-06. Add to the fact that he was traded for Sam Cassell and it hurts even more.
