I think it’s actually possible if Steph made his destination clear and GSW was helpful in facilitating it, it’s just not likely. The best package they could offer would be Reaves, Knecht, 2029 & 2031 firsts, 2028 & 2030 swaps, and D’Lo and Rui to match salaries. That’s $50 mill in salary and a pretty great trade package imo, especially since Steph is older.
I don’t think GSW is trading him though. It’s also just begging for the Nash/Kobe/Dwight 2.0 comparisons.
