As an Aussie, I still hope he gets it back together. Even though he teases the national team every year, and then pulls out, and never really has nice things to say about the country. His personality is so polar. Heās a quiet guy whose actions scream for attention. Itās a real shame how his skill set hasnāt progressed from his rookie year.

I know Ben did play PG but insane 76ers had so many top picks and picked no true guards or forwards outside of Makrelle who had some freak injury or mental lapse. Okafor, Noel, Simmons, and Embiid with Ben missing full first season and Embiid taking multiple. So much of NBA history is written by luck in my opinion. Re-sim like 2k with just a few minor tweaks and everything is different. Random example being Tyrese to the 76ers thanks to Muscala.

As much as it sucked for Philly fans, I can’t tell you how much it sucks as an Australian. He was meant to be our own chosen one, the one Magic said was the best high schooler he’d seen since LeBron.
We have a competitive Olympic team, but we’d benefit so much from more easy points as our half court offense can be woeful at times. Just such a disappointment that he did not become anything to what we had hoped.
