Lauri Markkanen wasn’t worth all the value we would give anyways. Only way I’m trading every pick and every young guy is if we get Giannis or Embiid type player in return.

I’m sorry to say OP but because of the nature of this sub now you posting this is basically rage bait

  3. At this point I’m sick of hearing about how much we like Podz. Makes it sound like a PR blitz by a cult.

It’s fine we didn’t make a trade, it is what it is. But now it’s like they’re trying to justify something to imaginary critics and Twitter/reddit posters.

There’s no way he’s going to live up to this hype. Calling it now. By the end of the season fans will be mad at Lacoste for not using him in a trade when his value was high.

    Edit: lol Lacob

People might rag on Warriors for having blinders on and overvaluing Podz but it goes both ways, people might have blinders on against his pros since he’s not a hyped prospect or has incredible athletic abilities. But consider what he is, young rookie, cheap contract, immediately productive off the bench rookie season, is able to be productive without relying on athletic abilities, great basketball iq and feel for the game, good shooting (needs to work on FTs), does glue guy things, can handle the ball, insane motor. It’s like wait… that’s really really good and really rare, not just for rookies. It’s fair to think his ceiling isn’t that high based on athletic profile, but even if that turns out to be true, his floor is incredibly high.

role players getting this kind of treatment is crazy. very obvious lacob wants his own steph smh

I like Podz. He’s a valuable good player and he’s focused and motivated. It’s not his fault no trades happen. Or that Klay’s gone etc.

But these reports aren’t helping. They’re idolizing him like he’s the next superstar when that’s just not realistic or at the very least premature.

Also it’s crazy to me that Lacob can have all these glowing words for Podz to give him that safety but can’t be straight up with Klay out on the golf course.

Fucking Lacob giving Podz the job security that JK can’t even get.

Warriors found Podz, they get credit for that.

Also Warriors, acting like they have zero ability to evaluate talent.

It’s delusional. His rookie season was a surprise, but half of it was that they let him play. He’s too rough to pretend he’s some proven asset.

This sub just isn’t ready for the new salary cap era where affordable players who can do pretty much everything well are the keys to winning chips. I’m not saying Podz is 100% that guy or that we’re winning a chip because of him but y’all are going to lose your minds trying to figure out some of the deals that are going to go down. 😂

Kuminga/Moody over here watching this Jerry McGuire moment like, wtf bro!

  11. if we could get the Suns to believe all this and trade us Book and/or KD for Podz (lol) i’d be more keen on all this silly hype.
