What did Wilt say to Jordan – “They made the rules easier for you harder for me”

Otto Porter highlights with an old timey filter applied

If Wilt was born in this era he would have been in the GOAT conversation. Instead we have people like known Celtics fan Bill Simmons tarnishing his legacy.
MasterTeacher123
Wilt is one of the greatest athletes America has ever produced.
It was like dude was built in a lab.
LittlefishBigsplash
He’s literally chucking the ball up like beer pong, I mean that respectfully because it looks like minimal effort but is actually supreme skill.
bukbukbuklao
Wilt is my GOAT
FlatulenceConnosieur
Didn’t Shaq call himself Wiltchamberneezy for awhile?
jsho31
Bro’s face when he shot the first hook in the corner is priceless
erog84
People discount wilt because “ we never got to see him play”, and “ those are just myths”. There is plenty of interviews on video of people talking about him, video of him playing, and even those still alive who played against him first hand. Just lazy people discounting his legacy because it was long ago.

Facinating! Thanks!!

“He dunked every single way imaginable.”
Video proceeds to show five or so nearly identical dunks.

Watching this footage just reminds me of how dumb it is to compare players from these different eras.

Imagine home with a breakaway rim. extra savoir faire.

Awesome clip! Wilt was such a stud. I know the old school guys get knocked for playing against inferior competition (and rightfully so to an extent). But Wilt was 7’1 and was also a champion high jumper and sprinter, which is insane. Imagine Shaq competing in the high jump. Plus he really filled out in his later years. Dude was built like a refrigerator. I’d love to see him battle it out with Shaq, Duncan, Hakeem, Giannis, etc. Plus he had such a soft shooting touch. Definitely think he would be dominant in any era.

Age 50 Wilt footage in unbelievable
The dude not only jacked af ,he look athletic at his 50s and around 7 foot
Wrong-West-9581
Wish he could’ve played in the 80s and 90s. He never really got to use his physical gifts in the paint. And who knows how many backboards would’ve needed replaced. People sleep on this man. 50-25 on 48.5 minutes in 1 season and never fouled out in his career
ghostface_dilla
Imagine a man with that build, dexterity, and confidence with modern facilities, training, and medical conditioning. There wouldn’t even be a GOAT conversation. What a freak
ekb2023
It’s crazy how this dude only won 2 championships. Who can he even be compared to in today’s game? He’s big, fast and his midrange game was damn near unstoppable.

why does the edit look like AI

wtf is this AI upscaling on here it’s horrifying
Artistic_Taxi
Tbh we understate how insane it is to be that height with those motor skills and proportional body mass.
Everyone I know taller than 6’4” is either very clumsy or extremely skinny and flimsy
Wilt is insane.

Seeing this in color really brings it to life

I don’t know the exact term(s) for what they did to these old clips (looks like they artificially increased the frame rate at the very least), but it really brings them to life. I mean, they look weird with all the distortion, but you never really get a sense of the smoothness of the players back in the day. So it’s really neat to see!
RoofEnvironmental340
Just now noticing how long his arms are, pretty wild for how big he is already.
Prankstaboy6
This guy is so hard to rank on all time lists.

Say what you wanna say bout him….. he’s piped down more hoes than points. Cheat code

And these young dummies ask if Wit would be dominant today…

Great. Now show me that 100pt game
WTFisaCelsius
Never realized he could “palm” the ball with 2 fingers. The only people I’ve seen do that are Wemby and Shaq.
Worth-Tank336
Imagine this playing in today’s NBA. He’s Shaq/Giannas/Wemby as one person.
spaceship-pilot
A lot of great footage here.
Yroftheprtycrshr420
Did it all in PF Flyers.
motorboat_mcgee
The casual 3pt hookshot highlights will never get old to me. The one dude’s eyes in the background, and the other dude making a bet and then going speechless lol
Spiritual_Mechanic39
Hes just goofing off there video of him blocking Kareem Sky hook like it was nothing. He was a true genetic anomaly
koticgood
Dude was a taller version of Giannis with more power than Shaq.
Him and Russell are very good nephew detectors.
Anyone slandering them and saying “today’s game”? Instant nephew.
Arguably the most athletic freak in the history of sports.

If you really want to see how good he was, watch this:

me playing on the mini hoop against my 3 year old

The fade away jumper off the glass was unstoppable.
Thank you for sharing this. That was fun to watch.
There are people out there who think Wilt was just an above-average big who simply thrived due to his era, and they are so fucking wrong.
Wilt was a god damn freak of nature. Like you think Giannis is amazing, which he is, but then there’s Wilt. Absolute specimen
He was made for the game and the game was made for him
They changed the free throw rules for him because he could just take 2 steps and dunk it from the line
