Misleading stat… look at the valuations of all teams. They have all trended this way. Correlation does not equal causation.
Put another way, one would then suspect once Steph retires or otherwise, the value of the franchise isn’t going to fall. Other factors are at play… such as tv contracts and private investment firms being active in sports. Whereas Steph is entertaining, he is not the sole driver.
