I can't imagine him improving enough to get MIP. But I do think CP3 will add some discipline to his game, and hopefully improve his shot selection.
The better the Spurs are playing with a healthy Chris Paul this year, the greater the chance that he will be traded by the trade deadline (Feb. 6) to a team that has a real chance to win a ring.
Zero chance Vassell wins mip. His points will probably only go up a couple pts with more mouths to feed this year
His assists will drop with way less ball handling responsibilities. I do think he’ll look better on defense but that won’t be enough to warrant MIP
