Wasn’t that mostly because Vanderbilt was hurt?

  2. TorontoRaptors34

To be fair Vando was hurt and this line up ain’t winning a chip.
Ion trust DLO/Austin backccourts a big no no. Even with Vando there.

  3. This could be a sample size error

We’d need to see more than 68 possessions to be sure if this would be true.

But +39 is an insane stat.

A normal coach would double down on that for 10-15 games and see what happens.

Vando is impactful but overrated bro is terrible on offense sure he improved a bit last season the 9 games befo he got hurt again but he 25 and already been traded a few times mainly bc of his chronic foot issues. For what he can do on d its really tough to have him there start and close given how easily u can exploit him. If Vando had nothing but shooting and he can handle the rock that would be diff but he not like that.

That was a really low effort post from Trevor Lane.

    Consider this:

    >Austin Reaves, Taurean Prince, Rui Hachimura, LeBron James and Jaxson Hayes were a +41.8(!) last season.

    >They played 41 possessions together. Total.

    Or this:

    >Austin Reaves, Cam Reddish, Rui Hachimura, LeBron James and Christian Wood were a +92.6(!) last season.

    >They played 24 possessions together. Total.

    Or this:

    >Spencer Dinwiddie, Austin Reaves, Max Christie, Taurean Prince and Anthony Davis were a +56.4(!) last season.

    >They played 39 possessions together. Total.

    Or this:

    >Austin Reaves, Cam Reddish, Rui Hachimura, LeBron James and Jaxson Hayes were a +28.1(!) last season.

    >They played 57 possessions together. Total.

    Or this:

    >Spencer Dinwiddie, Austin Reaves, Taurean Prince, LeBron James and Anthony Davis were a +29.3(!) last season.

    >They played 52 possessions together. Total.

    Or this:

    >D’Angelo Russell, Spencer Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince, LeBron James and Jaxson Hayes were a +22.0(!) last season.

    >They played 78 possessions together. Total.

No, Ham wasn’t diabolical. Unlike us, who are just glancing at these numbers now without context, the coaching staff understood the situations in which these stats were created.

We need to send him to the hague international court. Dude was committing crimes against humanity every fucking night

  7. its going to be hilarious next season when yall find out we’re just a terrible defensive team because lebron is 40 and dlo cares more about posting on twitter than playing d, and as much as i like austin, dude has no business being the guy we put on the best guards in the league.

  8. Daaaaabearsssss

Nah that lineup needs more Taurean Prince. – Ham probably

They didn’t get enough minutes together but I’ve been saying it even when we had Ham we would’ve been a top 4 seed if the roster was healthy. The roster (outside of the lack of a solid backup Center) is was pretty well constructed given the lack of availability. I loved the addition of Gabe. Gonna miss Prince but I have faith in Max.

Health is the biggest factor for this upcoming season

  11. BasquiatRobot

This had nothing to do with Darvin Ham and everything to do with Jared Vanderbilt being made of glass.

  12. rational_overthinker

    “heck of a ball club”

    I won’t miss him

  13. Stevealot

That’s why this team is underrated, they had a coach that DIDNT USE MATH
