Offense 1st Mentality head coach J.J. Redick gonna disrespect the defensive side of the ball and keep Vanderbilt on the 2nd Unit. Because he wants Hachimura to fix the low volume 3-point shot making = only 1.4 made per game
Dalton Knecht is a lucky man to have Vanderbilt on the 2nd Unit.
It’s hard to rebound guarding the three point line
Is like you playing high school against nba pros is the same thing the lakers are the high school players against nba played what do you think any lakers are going to improve 3or 4 years and still the same waste of time changes the whole team is more accurate

Doesn’t matter who starts. The first game of the season, if both teams are healthy, will tell us if we can compete against the taller teams.

can't have AR & Dlo together no way, just like you mentioned they lack rebounder and a solid wing defender
I just wanna see the DLo,AR,Vando,Bron,AD lineup given 1 more shot.. sad we only saw it a couple xs last season.. The offense flows great with Rui tho… Im fine with either. Just wanna see everyone healthy 🙏🏾🙏🏾🤞🏾

Kinda nutty that other teams think that a guy who was 23rd in the league in TS% last year is a negative value contract.
If he were a complete loss on defense and the boards, sure. But he's more mediocre there than bad.

That’s my fav lineup. I do like Vando in there to sub for anyone tbh.
Rui doesn’t have the fundamentals for becoming a better rebounder.
Problem with the Lakers is and was consistency. Rui Reaves and DLO all can score but just not consistent enough to pose a threat. Also Rui Reaves and DLO are not good or okay defensively

We have no outside shooting, no big, no one off the bench, and our best player is 40 years old. Don’t expect too much.
Actually it looks like when Rui gets more 3's his 3pt shooting improves. Look 3 seasons back i think it was. Making 1.3 a game again .447. So with volume he's a better 3pt shooter. When he's getting 1.0 or less, he's not as good.
Reddish was a reasonable investment of wing time and elite D on medium size players and steals. Rui might work as 6th man, and 1st option scoring with bench guys. I like getting Rui involved early in the shot clock
