  1. I hope he's been working on that mid range too. Tons and tons of instances where he threw up fade aways. If he can add that to his arsenal he will be LETHAL!

  2. I have always been excited about Sochan, not over the top, but I think he has some great tools to bring and work on. He will be able to play a 3/4 and D role this year and not put in a position he is uncomfortable with, ala point guard position, but he showed a lot for the team while he played point, showed he has good handles for a bigger player. As we all know, shooting will need to improve, but he will have a couple of new guys, Castle and Paul that will set him up in better shooting spots, so I expect that to improve, as well as he is putting in the work on his shot.

I see Sochan as a 3 and D, he is 6'7" without shoes, not ideal for a power forward, and he is mobile and has enough handles to play the small forward. If he ends up a small forward I'm extremely excited!

  3. he needs to work on his handles and passing to become a better connecting player on offense, on his shooting too obviously

  4. #1 Rebounding.
If he is going to be the PF of the future for the Spurs, and Wemby is going to continue spending some of his time on the perimeter, then the Spurs NEED him to offensive rebound and defend the post. Being a servicable three point shooter is needed, but it is secondary to offensive rebounding.

  5. I'd like to see him be more fluid and therefore faster. I wanna see faster decisions, quicker drives, cuts, rim finishing, passes, shooting motion, rebounding, jumping passing lanes, doubles. Everything he does is great and his foundation (outside of shooting) is rock solid but I want to see him trim the fat off of his game. Which, is just getting a 21 year old more reps.

  6. Never knew Sochan was from Southampton, I am too. He commented on meeting Jan (pronounced Yan) Bednarek as he’s also Polish, plays for the Polish NT.

  7. Daily doze of Jeremy Sochan, he should work on his tunnel vision. Also rebounding, for starting PF 6 rebounds per game is a bit low

  8. If he can provide what Boris did for the Spurs then that would be huge and I believe he has the kills to do that. That means keep improving your shooting % and work to improve your foot work & finishing touches around the rim. He’s already a good passer so it’s inevitable for him to show off that ability once the team chemistry is at its peak. So he doesn’t need to avenge All star stats for the team yo be better, in my opinion that would mean most likely the Spurs would playing hero ball type of style 👎🏻

  9. 3 pointers. He has the potential to be a Leonard/Bowen hybrid type player. Lock down perimeter defender that can shoot 3’s and still rebound if needed.

  10. Shooting, he needs to develop offensive moves. Rebounding. Needs to block out more. Playmaking.
