I don't see them holding onto McConnell another 5 years. He's awesome, I love him! He may even have better season next year but I see them eventually trading McConnell. He plays off the bench and every good bench player usually fades out over time. That extension is a very trade friendly contract. Especially if any new players play better than expected.
I don’t know if Tj wants to get into to coaching but would love to see him indy for time past this contract
TJ doesn't have a dog in him. …He has three.
Congrats to TJ and all of us Pacers fans for getting this deal done. I'll be sad when TJ retires, but I'm looking forward to having Coach McConnell leading us in the future.
