  1. How can I find mistakes in my shot, when I go on the court to practice I feel like I just turn off my brain and shoot and can never identify the root cause of my mistake.

  2. The main problem for me with this is I have no one to train with and decision making is arguably the most important thing to work on

  3. So I’m good with individual training. I know how to challenge myself, variability, pressure, etc. But I just lost my workout partner, what should I do?

  4. my handling and finishing are the two things I need to work on the most and they've barely improved the last 2 years

  5. We lost a final and ref played me for 20 secs at the end when they were up by like 8 just so i dont feel bad. I gotta get better

  6. yo, thanks for the video. this could not have come at a better time. I'm a 14-year-old kid who wants to go to the NBA when he's older, I decided that's what I wanted to do with my life just a year ago. I tried to make the JV team for school and failed, and after playing another year of modified basketball I decided to try again and practice every chance I got, but now watching this, I realize I wasn't doing it right. Also, I'm in a cast for 5 weeks due to a broken wrist, so thanks to this video, I can better plan for the summer to hit the ground running when I get my cast off on July 17th. Thank you

  7. For this, I need to get my shooting great, like off-the-dribble shooting, pull-up J's, etc,. Also, my handle isn't great and I need to train that extensively to be able to score

  8. 🎯 Key points for quick navigation:

[00:14] Set clear goals for improvement. Don't just go through the motions in practice. Identify 2-3 specific things you want to get better at.
[01:10] ️ Be consistent with your practice. Don't switch up your workout routine every day. Focus on the 2-3 things you identified and practice them consistently over time.
[01:52] Don't get sidetracked by fancy drills. Focus on mastering the fundamentals you identified as weaknesses.
[02:19] Consistency is key! Don't overdo it, aim for frequent short workouts over long, intense bursts with large gaps in between.
[03:03] Not all reps are equal! Focus on high-quality reps that challenge you, rather than just the number of reps.
[04:00] ⏱️ Quality over quantity! Prioritize focused practice over just logging time.
[04:43] Don't be mentally lazy! Challenge yourself and focus on improving every rep, not just completing them.
[04:57] Train skills in context! Don't practice dribbling, shooting, or passing in isolation. Simulate game situations in your workouts.
[05:40] Train with pressure! Introduce realistic game conditions (defense, decision-making) to your shooting and ball handling drills.

  9. i thought the dude was doing an intro and ended up just watching the 2 people play not knowing he was talking how to get better

  10. Just hoop against hoopers better than you. And hoop often, like everyday. Learn from losses, bad games and mistakes.

  11. My first time playing was pretty bad, so i watched this and i figured what i need to work on, hopefully I can now get better and play with my older cousins 😂😂😂

  12. Do you think this even applies to younger kids? I train some 4th-6th graders and it feels like just getting them doing the basics like ball handling, spot shooting and finishing is a good start along with some situational 1 on 1 at the end.

  13. Thank you so much your prob not gonna see this but if u do I just wanna say I’m coming back from an injury and my old team split up so I don’t have a team and I’m trying to get better I’m only in D grade I’m Australia so that’s what we have anyway I’m in a low division and I’m trying to get better so I can make it to a high devision and maybe a high rep team I will do this as much as I can. Thank you so much

  14. About the practice with defense what if it’s just my little brother who I could shoot over regardless of his contest?

  15. TJL im a 13 year old who wants to get better this Year So I was a PG on 6th grade last year I play Like 6 games it was more like a Tournament So Now im going into 7th grade on August 12 in a past video I ask you how to organize your bbll workouts Like should I do this with this and this you help me with that because I want to get good at defense, shooting of different situations, left hand Now im doing 80% of time working on my shooting Using The Workout you gave a time ago also im also adding shooting off a bad pass, shooting off a bad pickup to really challenge myself And im doing Defense workout And Working on my left hand 15 mins a day also im doing like a imaginary game Im doing this Monday-Friday For now and when i go to school i have kinda 3 month long off season because in that time tme is football tryouts so i will take that to improve But the real question is For my school off season can i work on My shooting,Drivving ,finishing and working on small size games Btw my school Gym class is 45 minutes long But i im trying to find ways go challenge my self to get good And like How shoukd i organize it like should i do shooting working on my decision making Shoot, drive or drive & Finishing workout on Monday for example Challenging my self AND PROBABLY ON TUESDAY WORK ON FINISHING WORKOUT WITH CHALLENGES & SMALL SIZE GAMES MAYBE IT IS A GOOD IDEA Or how should i organize itt

  16. Just pull up to park runs and play to your best. Even if you lose a ball or get blocked, you have to learn to lose in certain areas to win later on

  17. I work alone so i have issues with contested shots it's not challenging enough to get better , so what i can do to get better without a partner ?

  18. Watched this video 3 months ago and I did what you said. Now I’m on my starting on my JV team as a sophomore and it’s all because I listened to you and I appreciate u a ton man much love🔥😊
