That swipe down swat is always so satisfying to watch

Steph gets a ton of credit (and rightfully so) but Bron guarding Jokic down the stretch in the Serbia game was incredibly impactful and caused their offense to stagnate just enough (along with their shooting cooling off).

    What a freak this guy.

This dude guarded jokic in the fourth quarter, 11 years after he took the challenge of guarding Tony Parker in the fourth quarters of the NBA finals.

He might not be consistently showing this level of defense every night, but in high stacks games, he is still a great defender even at age 40

Defense! The often underspoken art of basketball. A lot of influence in wins happens on the defensive end of the floor a lot of viewers surprisingly don’t see.

While he’s definitely taken a step back from
Defense. Scrubs on YouTube and Twitter will tell you he’s the laziest player on defense in the league.

He was truly the mvp of team USA he provided literally everything the team neeed at the moment in time.

  6. NyeahEhhhhhh

Playing defense like they all his children lmao

  7. SolitaireSam

Hard to believe he’s got this intensity left in him at 40, but man, he’s shutting them down. Proves age is just a number in the game

A lot of this is just because he is 250 lbs with great ability to move his feet well.

People often overlook the value of weight in defense. Look at Jrue Holiday with 229 lbs. The only thing bronny probably got from his father is the weight cause he is 210 lbs at 19

Not much he can’t do at an elite level

Never been a big LeBron fan but my eyes were opened here and so late in his career. Absolutely won the gold for us.

On a fundamental level, watch how low LeBron gets and how wide his stance is defending someone bigger and heavier than him.

I love videos on passing and footwork but videos of Lebrons BB IQ are my favorite. He’s probably the best player (easiest to see) where you can see the IQ in action where he can map things out and guess them before the action happens (like in the first sequence). Most highlights were watching crazy skill and athleticism but these are so cool because you can see how he understands the game.

There’s one from the Cleveland days where he figures out GSW pick and roll rules and fakes them out for a pass to an open 3 that is just chefs kiss

wait till Bron decides to play pf full time..

It’s actually insane that 40 year old LeBron was the best player on the floor for this stacked US team.

Players like iguadola and draymond get a lot of credit for their hands, rightfully so. I feel like Lebron’s ability to do that swipe down move as the defender gathers to go up is underrated. He’s really good at it.

This is why Reddick needs to keep LeBron under 30 minutes per night. If Bron has his legs and gas in the tank, he’s still one of the leagues best defenders.

LeBron is one of the best post entry deniers in NBA history.

I know Jordan would not have stopped Jokic in a post.
