It was devastating when Yao went down in ’08, but on the flip side it was so much fun watching nearly 42 year old Mutombo spring into action and start the final 25 games of the season after racking up DNPs all year long. They won 10 straight and ultimately went 18-7 with him in the lineup. Every block and finger wag was an event.
