Booth wants to win on his terms with his team and not have “Tim’s” cloud over him. While I can understand that, the job is to win and be competitive. I think they have made some really bad decisions lately and they are going to pay for it unfortunately. Their time to capitalize on jokers best years is right now. Cuz while the west is strong the “best players” according to most media are pretty regularly at the lower end of the playoff bracket/play in and the younger stars are going to start advancing more and more…. We are seeing it already. They at least got one out of it but I’m not sure they will be able to capture another one with their current build.

Last season Braun put up 7.3 pts and 38% from 3 in 20 min. While KCP put up 10 pts and 40% from 3 in 31min. KCP is great and all but that 2nd Apron is absolutely brutal and if it cost the 4th or 5th best player on the roster to stay our of it, so be it. I believe that Braun is more than capable of covering the 3 point deficit between him and KCP with the additional minutes that will be available. Furthermore, say what you want about Westbrook but we all know that even at this stage in his career he is more than capable of averaging 15, 7 and 7. And that is not only better than Bruce Brown during their championship run but would easily make Westbrook a top 6th man candidate.
