This is hella cringe. Especially when the dude’s a late second round pick who’s unrostered and might not even be an NBA player.

I choose to believe that this was done in good humor, and it is fucking funny! Great stuff

💀💀💀 ngl our team is weak but i love the hope

Really hope Post gets the 2 way spot over spencer. He’d be the tallest on the roster, and we have enough guards already.

you mean the guy who isn’t officially signed to our roster yet?

  6. This is so stupid. Liking anyways because that’s my Alma Mater.

This dude is unlikely to spend much if any time on the court with Steph – unless there are injuries – I don’t see it happening. He’ll play garbage time mostly

Yikes. Post is a good looking pick for the 2nd round but come on.. odds are he may not even be a bench player. Allen Smailogic vibes in here.

The league ain’t ready?… let’s wait to see if he even gets a roster spot at this point

Not sure about this, Dubs have been undersized at the 4 and 5 for a minute now, but made it work intermittently. Lauri certainly would have been an upgrade, regardless of questions of fit.

Off topic for the thread, but, as a largely fair weather fan with no true allegiances anywhere (as a Canadian my loyalty should be to the Raptors, but that’s too depressing right now), I’m shipping the Kings this year. I wanna see Derozan get some real success. Love that man and what his game has become.

I think it’s good that there’s not a lot of expectations, and therefore not much pressure — the complete opposite of the Wiseman situation.

If he does well in the G League, then I think the thing to do is to bring him up and give him some NON-garbage minutes — i.e., some court time with all or most of the other starters — and see how he fares in that environment. Something like Steph, BP, Wiggs, Draymond, and Post. See how it goes, recycle him to the G League as needed to work on things.

If it doesn’t work out, give him a full GL season to develop, continue over the summer, and try again next year. With him being a 4-year college player, I’m hopeful for him in the 2-3 years’ NBA experience range. Success in Year #1 would be an amazing bonus.
