Realistically the only way forward. Just an unfortunate situation on both sides

  2. abippityboop

“Well we’re stuck with each other so let’s try to make it work”

  3. Major_Damage7207

the key is to use “I Feel”statements to communicate your feelings while minimizing defensiveness

  4. turtleface78

“any chance we could get some value for the millions we are sending your way?”

  5. Some date nights, maybe a vacation at a nice hotel. Roleplaying to spice up the chemistry.

  6. overweighttardigrade

Can’t really do anything with him, gotta play him just to make him trade able

  7. Punjabiveer30

“Ay our bad big bro, let’s get that 7th chip to Chicago Zach…..hello? you there?”

  8. LegendKingX

The Bulls are so cooked and I ain’t mad about it lmao.

  9. BasketRap

“Sorry we tried to trade you 57 times and you hate the head coach. We good?”

  10. Low_Cranberry7716

    What is his love language?

    They should start there.

  11. Popoutandshoww

He can help by tanking for us so we can draft Cooper Flagg. I mean he already chucks too many shots and plays no defense

  12. chickenstew907

“Working on their relationship” so possibly he plays more and the Bulls will have a better chance of trading him is an epic use of terminology.

  13. stache_twista

This story is like an annual tradition at this point

  14. Iseeyoulookin

Translation “We tried to trade him but no one wants him so we gotta work it out now”.

  15. IndescribableRuckus

When Zach mends his relationship with subpar defense, terrible turnovers and questionable shots, his relationship with the Bulls will mend itself.

  16. no_more_jokes

It’s like when my parents decided to stick it out until I went off to college. Thanks Jerry for yet another traumatizing saga

  17. Asking4Afren

He got toddler knees he’s never gonna be the same dude

  18. dfields3710

I really don’t see why. He hasn’t improved on anything since he got there. For someone getting a max. He still a turnover prone, bad defender with no skill outside of shotmaking.

  19. “Since we left you on the curb all offseason and got literally zero traction on moving you, let’s work on this relationship”

  20. I_Set_3_Alarms

Expecting this exact article to be coming out soon about the Pelicans and Brandon Ingram, if it hasn’t already

  21. Man Zach does not deserve the level of hate he gets this thread is wild

  22. hankbaumbach

    Well that’s terrible news.

He is an albatross around this team’s neck and they need to cut ties as soon as they get a palatable return for the trade.

(Read: getting a pick instead of giving up a pick)

The media is gonna do the same thing with Zach that they’re currently doing with Justin Fields…the second he’s out of Chicago, it’s suddenly like we got swindled and he’s back to being a relevant player. Book it, bet on it, write this shit down, it’s gonna happen the first game he scores 20+ after we trade him.

  24. klobucharzard

zach & jerry reinsdorf sharing a deep dish watching the untouchables

  25. gulbas26

probably wont get max extension anywhere else

  26. actual_yellow_bag

Looks like Levine is officially the worst contract in the league.

  27. jupiter__jaz

And I thought the Sixers were the most unserious franchise.

  28. TrafficOn405

I like Zach but he is a high volume stats guy and he’s paid too much , interest in acquiring him was always going to be a problem.

  29. Confident_Pen_919

I hope its along the lines of “Please rehab your image so that we can trade you ASAP”

  30. caulpain

worst owner in two leagues. generational levels of incompetence.

  31. Aggregators are terrible. Clicking through this game of telephone, this appears to be the actual report?

    > Unable to unload the oft-injured two-time All-Star guard since last season, Karnisovas and Eversley need to do everything they can to repair a damaged relationship with LaVine and build him up enough to help them persuade other teams at trade-deadline time.

from Cowley’s article today. So it’s not even an actual report, just what Cowley says he thinks the Bulls need to do?

  32. Impossible-Flight250

He is getting paid to play. That should be enough.

  33. yetagainitry

Spend the last 3 years failing as a team and publicly wanting to trade him, realize they tanked any value he had and now can’t get anything of value. So let’s fix this.

Outside of drafting DRose, Chicago has been a horrible franchise since Jordan left.

  34. Drak_is_Right

Lavine has been a tank commander his entire career. Without DeRozan he can go back to doing what he does best.
