[Wojnarowski] In a letter sent to the NBA’s Board of Governors and obtained by ESPN, Knicks owner James Dolan continues to take issue with the league office and tells teams that he’ll vote no on the league’s proposed operating budget for 2024-2025 and the election of a new BOG chair.

Didn’t this clown step down from the NBA board of governors last year in a hissy fit?

“Knicks are finally good, I want more money dammit!”

  3. HokageEzio

I’ll give you 3 guesses which team owner is the current chair.

This is why Jerry Reinsdorf operates the Bulls and White Sox the way he does. Cause of revenue sharing. He feels that he can just suck or be .500 and make just as much as a team that spends and tries to win

  5. So basically he doesn’t like how much the players make and would rather that money go to owners

what happened with his dispute with the raptors? is he still in the not agreeing to arb phase

What’s the voting threshold required for this proposal to pass? I wonder if he’s the only open outlier trying to build resistance…

  8. EarthWarping

Isn’t he also kinda pissed because the RSN Model is not something they’re doing in the future

I feel like the Knicks ascendence has been directly correlated with this guy staying out of the public eye lol

It would be peak Knicks to finally field a competitive team only for the owner to cause a lockout.

Lakers should back this shit. Downvote me all you want but teams don’t trade with them on good faith. Why the fuck do they have to bank roll and aid other teams if team A gets a player for a 2nd pick and some Doritos when Lakers have to give up AR DLO Rui and a 1st Round Pick for fucking Jerami Grant or DFS

Can he go back to being distracted by the sphere. The Knicks are finally good since he stopped focusing on them.

Play good Dolan or league about to unbury the bodies you may have.

Honest question: what drawbacks would there be to connecting revenue split by how much a team wins? Feel like this incentives ownership to win which is the how point of sports. Would also disincentivize tanking as an added bonus
